Sweet Lemon Yogurt Fruit Dip

makes 1 cup
1 cup Non Fat Plain Yogurt 
2 tablespoons lemon syrup (recipe to follow)
1 tablespoon lemon zest

Combine ingredients in a bowl with a whisk until smooth.  Serve with fruit.

Lemon Syrup
1/4 cup lemon juice (juice of 1 lemon)
 1/4 cup sugar (you can also use honey)
1 tablespoon lemon zest

In a small sauce pan combine ingredients.  Bring to a boil and allow to come to room temperature.  Best to leave the lemon zest in the syrup overnight (in the refrigerator), but can be used immediately.  Strain lemon zest and pour syrup into a glass container and store in the refrigerator until needed.
