Light Blue Cheese Dip

makes approximately 2 cups

5 ounces reduced fat crumbled blue cheese
¾ cup buttermilk (or make your own)
¾ cup light sour cream
¼ cup light mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

In a medium bowl combine all ingredients (except chives).  Mix until well combined.  Garnish with chives.  Serve and enjoy!

Tip:  If you wish to have a creamier dip you can pour this into a food processor and blend until smooth, or smash blue cheese and buttermilk together with a fork until smooth and then add additional ingredients.
